For several years, France has been inspired by Silicon Valley and more and more startups are emerging in the most diverse fields. In high technology, but also sometimes in sectors that are less imaginable, such as local groceries or urban farms, entrepreneurs are trying to make their mark on society.

It is in this context that the Marc Dorcel group (" The experience of lust ") launched the DorcelLab. Its objective is to put " innovation at the service of pleasure ". Since the mid-2010s, the market for what used to be called "inflatable dolls" and which are now more "poetically" called love dolls or ai dolls when they are very sophisticated, has grown a lot. In particular, under the influence of the Japanese market, it has moved upmarket enormously with extremely realistic mannequins that can cost up to €70,000 .

He who wanted to get rid of her as quickly as possible will have to live with this sexual object which, slowly, will become humanized to the point of becoming an indispensable companion .

The kidnapping of Yôko will lead the hero of this novel to the doors of a sort of brothel where the prostitutes are inflatable dolls in the image of political, show-biz and media figures.

In this temple of fantasies and the virtual, man will realize that in our world of hyper-communication, relationships between individuals have never been so poor ; an observation that he will take the opposite view of in a strange way.
