Justice! For the Honor of a Priest - François Lefort

Testimony, essay

From day one, François Lefort has fiercely denied having committed the crimes he is accused of. However, he was convicted and served his sentence. Now out of prison, he has the right to speak out. "It is impossible to prove his innocence," he protests. But when, by providing new, indisputable evidence, he proves that he could not have materially committed some of these acts, when he proves that some of his accusers lied, one can legitimately wonder whether it is not an innocent person who has been condemned.

Because the truth is not always where we think it is. Because Outreau may not have been an isolated case...

A worthy and convincing work. To demand Justice!

They are talking about it...

His book is a call to politicians, an ode to change. It is a societal debate that he wants: "It is not a matter of right or left, it is the honor of France that is at stake and only politics can force justice to change."

Progress - Haute Loire edition, 02/10/2013

In this book, François Lefort continues to proclaim his innocence, by setting out the elements of his defense and the new facts that may cast doubt on his guilt.

The Journal of Saône et Loire, 01/29/2013

Beyond the personal case of Abbé Lefort, there is, in reality, reason to ask questions about the functioning of French justice, from one end of the chain to the other.
