"But alas! Who does not know that these gentle wolves Are the most dangerous of all wolves."

Who is this quote from? Not easy...
Yet this is an author and a text that we all know and that even very young children know!
It is from Charles Perrault in Little Red Riding Hood . The moral of this tale is beyond doubt as to its aim to warn young girls of the dangers of men . You will find the full quote at the end of this post.
You can find this tale, in three albums with very different graphic universes, on the Storyplayr website. Your child will have the opportunity to listen to the tale told by following the images and the text, but also to record themselves page by page to listen to it again later.
You can also record yourself reading it to him page by page, which will allow your child to listen to you reading the story to him while you do something else. Which can be great. At the same time, all your little reading imperfections will make him laugh every time he listens to them. It's up to you.

The full quote
"We see here that young children,
Especially young girls, beautiful, well-made, and kind,
It hurts a lot to listen to all kinds of people,
And that it is not a strange thing,
If there is enough for the Wolf to eat.
I say the Wolf, because all Wolves are not of the same kind;
He is in a good mood,
Without noise, without gall and without anger,
Who are private, complacent and gentle,
The young ladies follow, even into the houses, even into the alleys;
But alas! who does not know that these gentle Wolves,
Of all the Wolves are the most dangerous."
